Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a country music singer/songwriter. The album Satisfied was released in 2007. She formed a Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows her previous album. Ashley Monroe Performing with Blake Shelton In 2015 she came out With The Blade, another album which earned her fame and praise. Ashley Monroe works as the Assistant village manager of Riverside Illinois. With over 15 years of working experience, she's worked in various public positions including five years spent in the Iowa City deputy City Manager post. As the Assistant Village Manager her current responsibilities include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department as well as completing various tasks. Ashley is involved in the day-to-day operation of Riverside services, as well as in the implementation of the elected officials' and community goals. Ashley's previous positions included the planning of municipal services, public communications, budgeting, personnel management and collective negotiations. The focus was also on climate action. Ashley's work with the national organization, as well as her involvement with diverse communities and populations has given her insight into the differences and commonalities between the ways in which different public institutions run. Ashley's course concentrates on leadership, management and public administration from the viewpoint from a practitioner in the field. In addition to establishing a context for current and future practitioners Ashley stresses the necessity of adapting today's ethical and strategically-based decision making for addressing challenges and take advantage of opportunities.
