Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has left a lasting impression on the screen. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. Then she began moving to Texas in search of the field of physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas prior to moving to Florida, Orlando. There she played a range of roles including local independent films and international commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering she was a fan of acting. She moved into New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the early 2000s she had small roles appearing on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first role in a major series on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. This particular character has earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time after. She was Marisol Deko as the wife to David Caruso's Horatio. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. After two short episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a nationality of Italian and has a 10 year old younger brother named Cory. She grew up in an environment that was strict and deeply religious. Milano started her acting career when she was seven when her babysitter joined her in an audition. Her audition was in the top 1000 applicants. She was selected as the only girl. Milano is featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and in the American debut of Jane Eyre.
